I really like the activities that go on like sports day
and the eisteddfod. The field is very good because it's
been split into different parts so we can all play safely.

Congratulations for your website! It has been a wonderful surprise to remember my attendance to the school during the years 1980-1982 while my father was teaching Literature at the Atlantic College. I have beautiful memories of the teachers (Mr. Thomas, Mrs. Williams) and the classmates (Amy, Eleanor...). One of my dreams is to return with my husband and my two children (1 and 4 year old) for a summer holiday. I would appreciate any information regarding accomodation and summer activities in the area. Thank you very much.

I would just like to say well done to all involved with this year's Christmas concerts. They were first class and very professional! So much effort had quite obviously been put in by both the staff and the children. You all deserve a pat on the back!

My grandaughter has been attending your school for the last year and I am very impressed with all the events inviting parents and grandparents-keep up the good work-It is just like the school I attended from 1940 on. I was particularly impressed with The Remembrance Day Service.

My wife, Pauline, and I lived in Wick from 1961 to 1980 at 11 Broughton Road. Our children, Lesley (b.1960) and Nic (b.1963) both attended Wick school. I recall that Lesley attended the original 2 classroom school which was roughly where the village shop is now. Lesley is now an Environmental Health Officer in Nottingham and Nic is a lecturer at Glamorgan Poly. I remember Jim Thomas very well and recall many happy hours helping to run the chilrens fun club on a Friday evening. If anyone remembers Lesley and Nic, please get in touch and I will send you their e-mail addresses.

I lived in Wick (1 Church Rd) and attended this school until 1969. This has certainly brought back many happy memories. Well done to those who have put together a great website and enabled us 'oldies' to reminisce.

As a former resident of windy Wick, your excellent site was very informative and brought back many happy memories. Do you have any residential classes for the over 70's?

As a supply teacher, it's nice to be able to research the school a little before arriving to cover a class. Well done and many thanks for such an informative website!

What a thrill for me to find this website. I attended the school between 1968 and 1973, just before migrating to Australia with my family at the age of 9. My brother and sister also went to the school, before going to Balfour House. I have very fond memories of the school - although of course it has been rebuilt since I was there. A lovely trip down memory lane!

We are coming to Wick tomorrow on our school trip. We think your website is really useful. We looked at it to compare our school. Our website is http://www.tonyrywenprm.cardiff.sch.uk if you want to look at it.

We like the colours on your website and the picture of your teachers. We have about 40 people working in our school but ours have their photos by the headteacher's office.

If you see us tomorrow please wave!
